Nice to meet you, I'm Dianing

I help professionals in tech get unstuck and grow in their careers.

Together we can ...

  • understand what's holding you back

  • clarify what really matters to you

  • take meaningful steps toward your goals

Let's be honest, you don't just want a great looking CV. You want to feel fulfilled, recognised, and connected at work.

  • You want to say, "Yep, I've done another great job today," at the end of your work days.

  • You want to build software products that serve many users. I know that exhilarating feeling of seeing what you built in the hands of your users!

  • You want to get recognition for your hard work. Because truth be told, software development is HARD WORK!

  • You want to have meaningful relationships with the people you work with. Since you probably see them more than you see your family members.

And yet, you may find yourselves depleted at the end of your work days, wondering what it would feel like to be someone you look up to. Why is it so difficult to just do what you love doing the most, the things that brought you to tech in the first place. Or maybe you're wondering why those things don't bring you joy anymore. What's changed within you?

Here's where I come in.

What's my real story?

After 20 years in tech, one thing became clear:

We’re great at growing software, but we often lack support when it comes to growing ourselves.

Though my academic background is in tech, I actually started in Architecture—the kind that involves buildings, not software. It didn't last long. I struggled for a year before switching to Informatics Engineering, a blend of computer science and software engineering. Then I struggled again.

I wasn’t a childhood coder or a tech prodigy, I was just:

→ curious

→ determined

→ and constantly figuring things out the hard way

And still, I made it through the undergraduate degree, plus two Master’s degrees in Informatics across two countries, navigated multiple cultural shocks, and eventually ...

I built a successful career in software engineering across industries, such as education, transportation, public sector, research, retail, publishing, health, mobility, loyalty, childcare, and e-commerce.

I worked in various company sizes, ranging from early startups with fewer than 10 people to enterprises with over 5,000.

I couldn't have done it without the support from my mentors, coaches, and managers.

2005

My first job in tech, working in a cubicle

But then...

Something got lost—me.

As an introvert, a neurodivergent, and a minority in tech with disabilities:

→ I was passed over for project and leadership opportunities.

→ I shrunk myself when overwhelm kicked in.

→ I worked through lunch, over time, long hours to be more confident to take my space.

That was when I found that I hadn't had the support I needed. I asked and searched but I was just feeling more isolated and unsupported. So I decided:

If I can’t find the support I need, I’ll become it. I'll pay forward for all the supports I've received during all the years I stumbled and struggled.

Because I knew I wasn’t the only one in tech feeling unsupported.

2024

Physically and mentally exhausted on my flight back from a business trip

So then...

I trained as a coach.

Now I get to bring my curiosity, honesty, and well-seasoned intuition into supporting people in tech to navigate the personal side of growth—the messy, human part we’re often taught to ignore.

If you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or just tired of doing it all alone, I’m here. Let’s see if I’m the support you’ve been looking for ❤️

What about you? What's your story?

Hopefully, you have had a working life well lived, ready for what's next in your career.

You may want to:

  • Feel more confident in your current role

  • Get yourself ready to grow into a new role

  • Figure out how to make your work days more fulfilling

  • Get clarity on what really matters to you

  • Be unstuck and get back on track

All those are wonderful goals and I'm excited for your future!

As a coach, I won't teach you a new programming language or technology. Instead, I'll help you reconnect with your values, understand your needs, and build the clarity and confidence to move forward—through thoughtful questions and deep listening.

I commit to abide by the Global Code of Ethics and I'll support you in unlocking the growth that's already within you.
